Jay Wile discovered his love for chemistry when his parents bought him his first chemistry set. Many stink-bombs and a few explosions later, he was hooked! Although he was fascinated by chemistry, he also had many other interests. For a while, he thought about becoming a concert pianist, but unfortunately, his fingers were not long enough (no kidding!). During his high school years, he became extremely interested in the theater and began to pursue a career in acting. Partly because he learned the science behind some of the special effects of the plays in which he performed, he eventually went back to his first love: chemistry.
He became fascinated in particular with nuclear chemistry and earned a Ph.D. in that field at the University of Rochester. Dr. Wile's love of science is demonstrated by the many awards he has won for excellence in teaching and research. He has also presented numerous lectures and peer-reviewed journal articles on the topics of Nuclear Chemistry, Christian Apologetics, Homeschooling, and Creation vs. Evolution. He has nine books to his credit, most of which belong to the award-winning Exploring Creation with ... series of junior-high and high-school science courses.
Dr. Wile and his wife of more than 25 years, Kathleen, homeschooled their daughter, Dawn, from the time they adopted her until she graduated high school. Dawn is a Butler University graduate and is currently a long-haul trucker with her husband, James.

Dr. Duke Pesta received his M.A. in Renaissance literature from John Carroll University and his Ph.D. in Shakespeare and Renaissance literature from Purdue University. He has taught at major research institutions and small liberal arts colleges, on a wide variety of subjects at the graduate and undergraduate level, including courses on Shakespeare, Renaissance literature, the Bible, Russian literature, Christian Apologetics, and C.S. Lewis. He has been active in educational reform, and was instrumental in developing and implementing an elective Bible course that is currently available for public high school students in Texas.
Dr. Pesta is an engaging and animated speaker, whose experiences as an educational reformer, university professor, high school teacher, and the administrator of an online home school curriculum uniquely qualify him to address the current state of education in our country. He speaks at home school conventions and educational conferences across the nation on topics including the necessity of homeschooling, the decline of morality and critical thinking in the public schools, and the myriad ways that colleges and universities indoctrinate students. He is currently in demand on the speaking circuit as one of America’s foremost authorities on the dangers of Common Core. He is currently a professor of English at the University of Wisconsin.

Renee Miller http://www.millerpadsandpaper.com Renee Miller and her late husband, Randy Miller were married 34 years when the Lord took him home. They began their family business, Miller Pads and Paper over 27 years ago with the purpose of serving families and Christians through the manufacturing and sale of their paper products and over 6,000 art and educational products. After the Lord took Randy home, He asked Renee to share her many life experiences as a wife, mom, grandma, and business owner. Deanne Crawford http://www.rainbowresource.com Deanne Crawford’s journey into homeschooling began in 1997 after removing her oldest child from the neighborhood K-8 school. At that time, Deanne and her husband Manuel made the decision to bring Deanne home from her nursing career, in order to focus on the education of their children. Their oldest child, Amanda, graduated from their homeschool in 2009, and is a registered nurse. Graduating from their homeschool in 2013, her son, Jackson is attending community college while he considers his future goals. Blessed with children on both sides of the learning spectrum, she quickly learned to tailor her homeschool to best meet their individual needs. As a family, they served on their local homeschool board and convention committee, as speaker and facility coordinators, including a wide range of age appropriate volunteer positions for their children. She sincerely believes homeschooling has been the greatest blessing to their family, and although was not the easiest thing she has ever done, it has definitely been her greatest accomplishment. Joining Rainbow Resource in 2011, Deanne is thankful to be able to be immersed in her passion of helping homeschool families through phone and convention consulting, workshop presentations and writing for Homeschooling Today magazine.
