NICHE Capitol Day offers a full day of opportunities for Iowa home educators,
including interaction with Iowa lawmakers & national leaders,
tours of the Capitol,
tours of the judicial building,

a noon pro-homeschool rally on the steps of the Capitol,
and special afternoon sessions
held off-site at Embassy Suites Hotel.
(Just 6 blocks from the Capitol, with free shuttle service options arranged by NICHE.)

Home educating families from across the state will have an opportunity to meet their Iowa legislators,
thank them for their service to our state,
and give them a packet of information
about homeschooling provided by NICHE.

The 2010 NICHE Homeschool Day at the Capitol attracted over 800 home educating parents and students,
our largest attendance ever
!

We hope to see another record-breaking attendance in 2011!

Make plans now to attend this exciting event with your entire family!

Registration is required:
We are asking everyone this year to register and pay a nominal fee of $15
(which covers the entire family)
to help offset some of the costs involved in producing this all-day event.
There is a new family-friendly setting for the afternoon activities.
If the $15 dollar fee is a hardship for any family,
they may contact NICHE and we will try to find families
who might be willing to provide a scholarship for this purpose.

Online pre-registration is available through Monday, March 21. Walk-in registration is available on-site.
